To create your own die, use a carpenter's coping saw to cut out the design and an inexpensive kit of needle files to finish the shape. Rub down with some fine emery cloth and your die is ready. If your extruded shapes are small, you may want to cut several shapes on one die and close out those not being used with a scrap of plastic or sheet metal.
