| Olympic 240 V Glass fusing kilns have elements on the lid as well as in the
sides, thus insuring even heating on all sizes of pieces. Infinite
switches give accurate control of the temperature.
The lid element is wired to the electronic controller through an infinite switch.
The lid element goes on and off with the side elements under normal
electronic control. The amount of power to the lid element is
controlled by the infinite switch setting.
The electronic controller is the RTC1000 from
Bartlett Instruments You can read

Olympic Commercial Glass Fusing Kilns

Same brick and fiber construction as
Olympic's Commercial Electric kilns. The top-loading glass
kiln has a pyro-block lid with brick inserts for holding
elements, and counter sprung for easy opening. Lid and
wall elements provide even heating. And eight segment
programmable electronic control gives temperature readout and
complete control of every firing. (Standard configuration
is top opening.) Max temp 1700
F. Also available in 208v and 3 phase. Stainless steel top and sides. Standard
controller is the Bartlett RTC-1000.
