The 12-sided production workhorse. Designed to meet the intense demands of high
volume production, the 1227 has earned the respect of potters, sculptors, tile
makers, schools, and slip casters around the world. The 1227's standard
3" firebrick, coupled with the highest quality balanced elements, allow the
1227 to reach cone 8 temperatures efficiently and consistently, firing after
firing. A 4 1/2" blank ring may be added to the manual model to
increase cone 1 firing capacity. Manual comes with Kiln Sitter and Limit Timer. Available in 240v, 208v, single or 3phase

Controller. These PK Kilns are hard wired to allow for great amperage. An electrician
will need to make the electrical connection. For each additional 50 feet use
heavier wire, numerically two numbers lower. For example, instead of #6
use #4.
