Drape Molds - Slump-Hump
Molds
These plaster drape molds are widely used in schools and institutions,
as well as individual studios. Available in many shapes and sizes, they
can be used to make an unlimited number of forms including bowls,
platters, planters, vases, masks, dishes, etc. Just drape a slab
of clay over the top of the mold and let your imagination do the rest.
About
the mold dimensions on this page.... For the most part, the
dimensions represent the "working" surface of the mold.
For example the entire 10" square slump mold is much larger than
10" across and 1" high. However, the slumping area is
about 10" across and 1" deep. That is the origin of the
dimensions. All dimensions are very close estimates, but you
should not expect them to be exactly what is stated here. Thanks.
