Color: Burnt Sugar    email: cowgirl_karen@lycos.com   Date: 31/01/01
Comment: I fired this glaze to 04 in my electric kiln. I made a spiral bowl that turned out beautifully. I brushed the glaze on for two coats. (I thinned the glaze with water, but it was still a little thick for brushing.) It fired dark reddish brown where the glaze was thinner (the ribs of the spirals and edges) and mustard yellow on the thicker areas (flat areas). Very glossy with good opacity and coverage over white earthenware.
