Using this patented process, you can create your own decals using any HP or Canon black and white laser printer!
Here's how it works. Find a picture or other image you like, or just type a message into your computer word processor. Print that on the special Fired-On Images decal paper. Cut-out the image, and soak it in warm water. Once the decal begin to separate from the paper backing, remove it and slide the decal on to your plate (or mug, or platter, or tile... any glazed ceramic surface, or glass surface.) Position the decal and blot-off the excess water, and wait an hour or so for it to completely dry. Fire the item in your kiln (see included instructions for more details) and you have a permanent image fired onto your item. Before we decided to sell this product we did some test firings. This mug (with our contact information) was the first test firing we did. It was fired to cone 06 on a white stoneware mug that was purchased from Target. It worked great. It's permanent and the lettering came out clear. You only need 3 things to fire on your own decal images: An inexpensive HP or Canon Black and White laser printer, Fired-On Images Transfer Paper and access to a kiln.
