P-Series Colored clay is based on
Polar Porcelain. The colors are pastel at Cone 06, and deepen and
intensify as firing temperatures increase. Their best color is
achieved between Cone 6 to 8. The P Kit features half pound
samples of all eleven P-Series clays
Polar Porcelain is a smooth lower range porcelain
good for throwing and hand-building. Popular for making
jewelry. Fires to cone 8. 12.5%-15% shrinkage and
4.8%-2.9% absorption at cone 5-8.
