A single action airbrush which ensures easy handling and individual
air and color feeds. The air and fluid controls being independent
of each other enables the use to get a set line, shade or stipple
effect. Recommended air pressure 20-45 lbs. (This airbrush
is recommended for beginners since it clogs less easily.)
Recommended air pressure .5 to 1 CFM @ 20-45 PSI.
(Note: Glazes
typically require higher PSI because they are thicker than many other
materials.)

This model features a rocking finger lever which permits flexibility
of air and color combination without work stoppage. Material is
siphoned from the color cup. Recommended pressure 20 to 45

The Paasche D500 Air Compressor is an oil-less piston
compressor suitable for use with Paasche and most other Airbrushes using
properly thinned fluids. This is their most economical air
compressor. Delivers .4 C.F.M. @ 20 P.S.I. Capable of delivering
up to 40 lbs pressure.

New feature in 2008... Automatic Shut-Off with On Start
demand when the Airbrush is triggered. Comes with 3 wire
cord, 110-120 volt, 1 phase, 60 Hz motor. Shipping wt 10
lbs.
D500SR version features a regulator, pressure gauge & Moisture
Trap. It's a low pressure regulator with a 100 p.s.i. gauge and
moisture drain. This regulator gives control of operating pressure
as well as assisting in furnishing clean, dry and regulated air. Will
regulate up to 40 P.S.I. depending on usage (intermittent or constant)
and size of airbrush being used.

A note about Air Compressors
The Paasche D500 is good if you are only airbrushing (not doing full
coverage spraying of glazes) and using thin materials. Otherwise
you will need a stronger compressor.
We recommend purchasing an air compressor such as one of the
following. They are about $100-$125, and can be used with Sprayers
as well as Airbrushes. They have regulators, air tanks and more power to push
heavier glazes through the guns. Coleman Powermate VP201, sold at
KMart, Costco, Sam's Club, etc. 2 gallon air tank, 70-100 PSI Craftsman
