Oval and Rectangular Kilns are popular for firing large loads or long
items such as sculptures.
Olympic Oval Kilns
Olympic Oval Kilns have been popular for years. They all
feature 3" brick construction.
Olympic Medium Oval
20" wide x 30" long and a variety of depths.
Olympic Large Oval
Two more sizes: 25" w x 37" long, or 30" w x 42"
long. Both in a variety of depths.
Shimpo/ConeArt Oval Kilns
ConeArt also makes great Oval Kilns. They feature 2.5"
brick plus an extra inch of fiber insulation for extra insulation.
They also include zone control and floor heating elements which are
useful for evening out the temperature throughout the kiln.
However, they only come 27" deep and they have plenty of power so
they must be direct wired.
ConeArt Oval Kilns
In two sizes: 26" w x 36" long x 27" deep, or
31" w x 41" long x 27" deep.

L&L Square and
Rectangular DaVinci Kilns
These range in size from 5-35 cubic feet. They are more
expensive than Oval Kilns because it costs more to make a rectangular
kiln, but they also are extremely heavy duty, suitable for
production. You will notice the high power per cubic foot on these
kilns, so you will never have trouble reaching Cone 10.
Rectangular kilns are also excellent for tiles as you can stack all the
way into the corners. L&L Square and
