KS1018 Manual and KM1018 Automatic Kilns
The wide mouth capacity of a 10 sided kiln with the loading ease of a 2
section kiln. Capable of firing to cone 10, these kilns are perfect for
firing fragile porcelain. 1018's are also excellent for firing heavy
stoneware pieces that are difficult to lift out of deeper kilns. Although
similar capacity is available in our 8-sided kilns, many users prefer the 1018's
because they're so convenient. KS models can add a 4 1/2" Blank Ring for increased Cone 1 capacity.
Available in 240 and 208 models, with
standard or 3" firebrick. Easy-lift lid is included.

KS1027 Manual and KM1027 Automatic Kilns
The 1027 is known as a real powerhouse because of its large 7 cubic foot
capacity and ability to fire to cone 10. It's a great kiln for those who
fire porcelain and stoneware. It has proven to be the most popular model
the Skutt line, and has earned a reputation as a kiln which fires evenly at high
temperatures over and over again. A 4 1/2" Blank Ring on the manual
model lets you handle even larger cone 1 loads. It also comes in a -3
model which has 3" thick brick for more insulation. Manual
comes with kiln sitter and limit timer. Available
in 240v, 208v, single or 3-phase power, with standard or 3" firebrick. Easy-lift
lid is included.
