Note: Although
these Skutt glass kilns do not come with automatic controls, Skutt does
recommend them for those serious about glass work. They are
fantastic tools for attaining better precision and more repeatable
results. The controller allows you to program up to 8 segments,
each with a heating or cooling rate, a temperature to reach, and
temperature hold time. This control, which is critical to
slumping and fusing glass, is very difficult to achieve without a

These small Skutt glass kilns ship by truck, and you will receive
a truck shipping quote for your approval before we proceed with your
order. Estimated minimum shipping cost is $110 to a residential

The Pinto
|
Designed for simplicity and efficiency, the
Pinto is still large enough (6" deep and 14.375" opening) to
let you undertake a wide variety of glass projects. The Pinto's
element is in the lid for even heating and faster firing, giving
superior control for single layers. A 115v infinite switch
allows precise control for consistent, high quality creative
results. Use the Pinto anywhere you have a standard 115v, 20Amp
outlet. This handy little unit comes standard with infinite
switch control, pyrometer and stand. Limit timer not
available. Optional shelves are available.

Versatility is the key word for this larger,
side-fired glass kiln. The Octagon fuser operates on any 240V,
20Amp circuit. It's Dawson Kiln-Sitter provides automatic
shut-off in all types of production. Side elements and 9"
of depth allow you to use two shelves for 400 square inches of usable
area. Slump larger pieces on a single shelf using the full
17.5" opening and 9" depth. The Octagon Fuser's
infinite switch permits precise temperature control. The
top-loading, multi-side design eliminates hot or cold spots, so you
can use the entire firing chamber. Comes standard with infinite
switch and stand. Kiln shelves and pyrometer are available. The
Octagon Fuser's elements are in the body of the kiln. Features
