What is a Dual Media Kiln?
Olympic's Dual Media kilns are designed for firing ceramics and
glass. Dual Media (DM) models are built with 3" brick for
energy efficiency and will fire to 2350°F for high firing pottery and
ceramic projects. They are also equipped with a lid element for
glass fusing. An ON/OFF switch activates the lid element when fusing
is desired. The Dual Media models are stackable electric kilns that
are designed to come apart, so that you can easily move them from one
location to another, and allows you to increase or decrease the
depth of kiln as needed.
All models come with the V6-CF controller
by default. If you prefer the RTC1000
controller, please request it in the order comments. There is no
difference in price.
