The Vent-Sure Wall Mount Kiln Ventilation System by L&L Kiln,
Vents harmful fumes away from a kiln to the outside. Fumes are
generated by carbonaceous materials in clay, china paints and glazes,
including oils, glue from decals, and other toxins. It includes a
bypass/collection box that gets mounted to your kiln, a blower system
and exhaust pipe that gets mounted to your wall and 15 feet of flexible
connection duct. The bypass/collection box features an adjustable
damper that allows you to control how much vacuum the vent system pulls
on your kiln. In addition to ventilation, it provides better kiln
uniformity.

Adjustable amount of venting:
A vacuum bypass on the kiln
bypass/collection box adjusts the amount of venting from the
system. Vent only what you need to vent- don't waste heat and
energy by venting more than you need.
External venting:
External venting is safer and serer
than venting to the inside of your kiln room with a filter.
Wall mounted blower motor:
The vent blower motor is mounted on the wall. This keeps the
heat of the kiln away form the motor for longer motor life, and keeps
the motor vibration away from the kiln.
Vacuum based removal system:
The vent tubing is kept under vacuum instead of pressure (unlike
competitive brands). This insures that any leak in the tubing does
not blow noxious fumes into your room.
The Vent-Sure vent system can be installed on almost any kiln.
Requires only that you drill two small vent holes through the kiln wall
or floor and four mounting holes. Mounting hardware is
included. A drilling template is also included. Although
L&L recommends mounting on the bottom section, or floor of the kiln
to achieve a downdraft effect, the collection box can be mounted
anywhere on the kiln.
