The Chameleon is a 13-1/2” square multi-purpose home hobby kiln.
It features L&L's hard ceramic element holders in the firebrick
top - for dust-free glass fusing. The kiln has a wide
range of safety features such as door shut-off switch,
circuit-breaker on-off switch, and an integrated bench stand,
It features a three-button, 4 program Bartlett electronic
controller for precise control of the kilns operation.
Includes one hearth plate (kiln shelf).
The square design is perfect for glass work but you
can also do PMC, low-fire ceramics and knife

The Genesis glass kilns meet the needs of serious glass
artists who need a large-format glass fusing kiln. It is
ideal for home studio use because it can be easily disassembled
and moved through doorways as small as 34”. Yet, this is a
sturdy, full-featured professional-grade glass kiln with all the
features that the best artists demand. Kiln features
include....
- Ceramic element holders to prevent dusting
on your wares. This feature is unique to L&L.
- Spring-Loaded counter-balanced lid, allows lid to
"park" at a 45°angle for easy access and manipulation
during firing.
- Kiln can be easily disassembled and moved through a 34"
wide door.
- Included a Bartlett RTC1000
digital kiln
controller, 6 programs with 8 steps each.
- Fast firing. All model heat
to 1700°F.
- 2" of highly insulating safe non-RCF fiber insulation on top
and sides.
- 2-1/2" of highly insulating
firebrick laid into bottom tray, Hearth
height 29” from floor.
- 1-1/2" high-temperature viewing window
- Safety switch turn off power to elements when lid is lifted
- On controller error code or high-limit alarm, kiln shuts off
automatically for safety
- Two hinged cooling vents doors in lid
