A single action airbrush which ensures easy handling and individual
air and color feeds. The air and fluid controls being independent
of each other enables the use to get a set line, shade or stipple
effect. Recommended air pressure 20-45 lbs. (This airbrush
is recommended for beginners since it clogs less easily.)
Recommended air pressure .5 to 1 CFM @ 20-45 PSI.
(Note: Glazes
typically require higher PSI because they are thicker than many other
materials.)

This model features a rocking finger lever which permits flexibility
of air and color combination without work stoppage. Material is
siphoned from the color cup. Recommended pressure 20 to 45
lbs. This model is for more advanced users who want more
control, particularly if using thin glazes or stains.

Air Compressor
The Paasche D500 Air Compressor is suitable for use with Paasche and most other
Airbrushes using properly thinned fluids. This is their most
economical air compressor. Capable of delivering up to 40 lbs pressure, it's an
oil-less diaphragm unit and comes with 3 wire cord, 115v, 1 phase, 60
cycle motor, Comes with or without on/off switch. Shipping wt 12 lbs.
New feature in 2008. Automatic Stuff-Off with On Start demand when
the Airbrush is triggered.

A note about Air Compressors
The Paasche D500 is good if you are only airbrushing (not doing full
coverage spraying of glazes) and using thin materials. Otherwise
you will need a stronger compressor.
We recommend purchasing an air compressor such as one of the
following. They are about $100-$125, and can be used with Sprayers
as well as Airbrushes. They have regulators, air tanks and more power to push
heavier glazes through the guns. Coleman Powermate VP201, sold at
KMart, Costco, Sam's Club, etc. 2 gallon air tank, 70-100 PSI Craftsman
Compact Air Compressor, 1.5 HP, 2 gallon gank, 125 PSI, #15210 An any
other misc one that can be picked up at auto parts stores, etc. |
