These intermixable colors provide a new aspect of lustrous finishes, compared with the pure gloss surface of the other Versa Color overglazes.  They are opaque and the opalescent lustre appears three dimensional and seems to come from the depth of the decorated object.  The WB Opalescent colors are intermixable with each other to produce a wider range of shades.  They should not, however, be mixed with non -opalescent Versa Color or any other overglaze.  Recommended firing temperature is Cone 017.  At Cone 016 and above, they become very glossy or change color, loosing the lustrous opalescent effect. Do not use Water Based Overglaze for decals, use only Oil Based.  Do not use on dinnerware surfaces.  Lead Free.
