Deluxe TALL Kiln Stand

A permanent high-temperature liquid refractory coating for all types of firebrick kilns. Apply to the inside of the lid and the top rim of brick walls. Makes a hard surface.

L&L Kiln brick repair kit
An excellent brick repair kit from L&L. It is intended for use on small to moderate sized cracks
and gouges on the surface of soft firebrick. The kit makes a grout-like material from firebrick dust mixed with water and a small amount of
cement. This compound dries into a material almost exactly like the original firebrick with the same color, consistency, texture and insulating properties.
The Brick Repair Kit includes: 1/2 pint of Special Phosphate Bonded Cement, 1/2 pint of brick facing,
one small firebrick piece, one quart of firebrick dust, and detailed instructions.
Although designed for L&L kilns, here at BigCeramicStore, we have used this kit with great
results on

Sensing Rods
These are the two most common sizes of sensing rod for Type K model KilnSitter. If the description

Tube
Assembly
There are two types of tube assembly; P and K. By knowing your model of KilnSitter, you know the
correct assembly type (see below). For each assembly type, there are several different
lengths. You must measure the length of your existing assembly to determine the correct part (see
image shown). Tube assembly purchase includes all
the parts shown, including the cone supports and the firing gauge.
Note: Kiln wall thickness is not a
reliable method of determining the correct part.

If for some reason you are unable to measure
the assembly length (say, it's completely missing from the kiln), then email
us your KilnSitter type (P, K, LT-3, LT-3K), kiln brand (Skutt,
Paragon, etc), model (1027, S24, etc), serial number and manufacturing
date.

These
are the glasses recommended by Orton Ceramics, the firing experts.
You can get darker, welding glasses with more protection, but then it is
very hard to see the cones. These are deemed to be the best
compromise between visibility and protection.
