CerablanketŪ by Thermal Ceramics features a
maximum temperature rating of 2400°F (1316°C). Cerablanket is
produced from exceptionally pure oxides of alumina and silica
using the spinning process. The resultant quality spun fibers have
been optimized for high handling strength, with on average the
highest tensile strength of any Thermal Ceramics ceramic fiber
blanket. Cerablanket is available in a wide variety of densities
and sizes. Cerablanket offers excellent handleability and high
temperature stability which allows it to meet a wide range of hot
face and back up insulation applications in furnaces, kilns and
other equipment requiring high temperature heat containment.
Note: A mask should be worn when cutting and
working with fiber to avoid breathing in particles.

Superwool 607 HT
Blanket is made of Superwool 607 HT long fibers. It exhibits outstanding
insulating properties at elevated temperatures. Superwool 607 HT Blanket
has an excellent thermal stability and retains its original soft fibrous
structure up to maximum continuous use temperature. Blanket contains
neither binder nor lubricant and does not emit any fume or smell during
the first firing. It is flexible, easy to cut and shape and easy to
install.
CLASSIFICATION TEMPERATURE 1300°C (2372°F)
The maximum continuous use temperature depends on the application. In case
of doubt, refer to your local Thermal Ceramics sales representative for
advice.
Note: The SuperWool is not quite as insulative as the
Cerablanket, but it is non-toxic; the fibers do not get into your lungs. |
