Custom Decal Factory

There are unlimited possibilities for making quantities of identical prints easily and inexpensively.  Any original drawing can be reproduced as many times as necessary and the decals can be saved indefinitely for future use.  The preparation of the printing screen has been made easy with the invention of CDF-4 light sensitive film.  No more stencil film to hand cut.  Prepare your original drawing on any transparent material (glass, acetate, tracing paper, etc) and you are ready to make a printing screen.  No darkroom is necessary, just work in a room lit with a yellow bug light.  It is only necessary to work under yellow light when working with the film before it is exposed.  A complete set of set-by-step instructions are provided with the factory.

The basic materials supplied in the factory have been selected for silk printing on decal paper or directly on ceramic tiles with oil based Amaco Versa Colors. These ceramic oil base decorating colors, especially developed for silk screening, are the correct consistency for this process.  Oil base Versa Color are permanent and semi-opaque with a brilliant sheen when fired to Cone 018-016.  

The Custom Decal Factory includes all of the following items: "Make Your Own Ceramic Decals, A Complete Handbook," screen bed, Decal Magic screen, light post, clamp light with No 2 photo flood bulb, c-clamp hinges, professional stretched screen with kickstand, plate glass, styrofoam buildup, cardboard buildup, acetate, positive test strip, black paper, squeegees (one each 2", 4" and 6"), Diazo Photo Emulsion Kit,  2 oz jar Microgrit, 2 oz jar Degreaser, 2 oz jar screen filler, 2 oz jar film remover, decal paper (100 sheets 7" x 7"), 2 oz jar Decal Magic, Oil base Versa Color (one each 1/4 oz tubes of Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Brown, White, 2 oz jar of Black, masking tape.
