WELCOME!  This page is for local customer who wish to pickup their orders in SPARKS, NV.

Please note that we are primarily an internet business and are not set up for retail.  You can place your orders online and pick them up at the our warehouse to eliminate your shipping cost.  Also, we are happy to special order items such as clay.  However we are not staffed to provide personal support at our warehouse, such as entering orders for you.  And our products are not on display for you to browse through in a retail fashion.  Sorry, it's not that we don't love potters and our local customers, but local customers are a very small percentage of our overall business, and there is not enough business here yet to justify hiring additional staff.

When picking up clay or bulk chemicals, please be prepared to load it yourself (or bring a helper!)  Due to their other responsibilities, our warehouse staff may not be able to assist you.

Most items can be picked up in Sparks to avoid shipping charges.  This includes all clay, chemicals, tools, glaze, etc.  Typical exceptions are equipment which we don't stock locally.  Please order the items you want on-line, select "Customer Pickup in Sparks Nevada".  It also helps if you type what day you would like to pick it up.  We will contact you within 24 hours if something is not in stock.  And we will call you when the order is ready for pickup.  

If you wish to pay with a credit card, please pay on-line when ordering.   You also may pay with a check when you pick up the order, if that is your preferred payment method.  Please remember you will have to pay local sales tax on orders that are picked up in Sparks.  If you are exempt from sales tax, please provide your tax exempt letter.  

WE ARE NOT SET UP TO MAKE CHANGE, SO IF YOU PAY BY CASH BRING THE EXACT AMOUNT.

We are typically open for pickups Monday-Friday 8 am-4:30 pm.  

Much of our equipment such as pottery wheels and kilns includes free shipping.  Therefore, if you pick these items up, we can offer you a discount from the web site price.  This is only true for items which we typically bring to our warehouse and don't drop ship direct from the manufacturer.

Looking for a deal? We have some slightly used/damaged items at great prices, pickup only.  

LAGUNA:
We can special order anything from Laguna including clay and chemicals we don't normally stock.  In some cases we may require payment up front, as some customers have requested special orders in the past and never come to claim them.

For large orders of clay, we may not have enough in stock and will have to add it to our monthly Laguna order.  We are working on choosing a fixed date each month when we will make this order.  If your preferred clay is a brand other than Laguna, please let us know what that is, so we can consider stocking.

SALES TAX and TAX EXEMPTION
The local rate of Nevada Sales tax is collected on all orders picked up at our Sparks warehouse (regardless of where you reside).  If you have a Nevada reseller's certificate and are tax exempt on your purchase, please bring a copy of the reseller certificate with you.  We will remove the tax from the order and keep your certificate on file for the future.
