How to add items

To add your photos to the glaze gallery, email a digital photo to support@bigceramicstore.com and include the name of the glaze, color of the clay (white or red), Cone fired to, and your name, city/state, and email address if you want them posted.  Please click the photos to see the glazes up close.

White Stoneware, thrown and altered.  Pot is Laguna Rafia (MS48), Lid is 3 coats of Laguna Brilliant Sunburn (WC 101) with 2 coats of Duncan HF Art Ironstone (HF558) brushed over top.  Oxidation fired to Cone 5.   Gilda Butler

White Stoneware, thrown and altered. Pot and Lid glazed with Laguna Mystic Mint Irish Cream (WC114). Accent stripes are 2 coats of Duncan HF Autumn (HF557). Top knob is unglazed brown and buff clay. Oxidation fired to Cone 5.

White Stoneware, thrown and altered Glazed with 3 coats of Laguna Royal Blue (MS20). Accent stripes are 2 coats of Spectrum Textured Kiwi Fruit (1140). Oxidation fired to Cone 5. Gilda Butler

Buff Stoneware. Base and Lip glazed 2 coats with Spectrum Pewter (1188). Middle section has 1 coat of Spectrum Textured Hot Chowder (1173) at top and bottom with 2 coats of Spectrum Textured Jungle glazed over. Oxidation fired to Cone 5.

White Stoneware. Lid &  stripe glazed with Amaco Sahara Ultramarine Blue (HF21), Pot and knob are Amaco Sahara Matt Yellow Oatmeal (HF62). Final one inch accent stripe that cascades is Laguna Spotted Blue (WC-111) applied (2 coats) 1/2 inch over the Ultramarine and 1/2" over Matt Yellow Oatmeal. Oxidation fired to Cone 5.  Gilda Butler

Spectrum 1173 Hot Chowder glaze.  3 coats, wiped a bit off the high  spots, over brown stoneware clay (cone 5).

Spectrum 1121 Satin White (cone 5/6) one coat first, then 2 coats of Spectrum 1159 Green Stone with some light wipes of Satin White on the top.  Wiped gently to remove some glaze off the high spots in the middle.  On ^5 warm brown stoneware. Janet Krueger  Lowell Michigan  jkonthehill@aol.com

Spectrum 1173 Texture Hot Chowder applied first to the edges and handles, and then 2 coats of 1145 Texture Autumn all over.  Then the Texture Hot Chowder put on top in spots....fired to cone 5 in oxidation on ^5 warm brown stoneware. Janet Krueger  Lowell, Michigan  jkonthehill@aol.com
